Taiwan’s Intellectual Property Office (TIPO) will upgrade its certificate inquiry system starting January 2026 by introducing official QR Codes for patent and trademark registrations.
Rights holders will be able to use government-certified QR Codes on products, packaging, advertisements, and digital content to enhance authenticity, transparency, and consumer trust.
This initiative reflects the growing trend toward digital IP verification and real-time rights authentication.
